Multimillet Idly Recipe

Urad dal – 1 cup*
Health Sutra Jowar/Multimillet Idly Rawa -3 cups*
Salt-As per taste
Ghee/Oil as required

Soak 1 cup of urad dal in water for about 4 hrs, drain water and grind dal to make into a thick batter to right consistency by adding required water.
Soak 3 cups of Health Sutra Millet Idly rawa in water for 1 hour, drain water and add soaked rawa to the batter.
Add salt as per taste and sufcient water and leave overnight at room temperature for fermentation.
Apply some oil/ghee on the idly trays and pour batter on the mould and steam cook in idly cooker for 20 minutes at low ame. Don’t remove cooked idlys immediately and allow it to cool for 5 minutes on the trays.
Serve the soft & yummy idlys with hot sambar/Chutney/ podi karam as per your liking.
1 cup = 240ml
Makes 32-36 idlys (depends on tray size)
